Finally got to watch SGA's Sunday.
I just want to hug Rodney. I knew he'd probably be the one most affected by Carson's death. I wish they had done more with that relationship. The Shep/McKay relationship seemed to take over and the Beckett/McKay relationship seemed to get lost.
I really thought when I saw The Rising that the Beckett/McKay relationship would be very prominent and I really didn't see the Shep/McKay thing until about halfway through s1.
I think they really did this episode justice. No one got shuffled off to stand across from their friends during the memorial unlike another show. *cough*sg-1*cough* Now if they can actually remember Carson existed sooner than a year from now I'll be very pleased.

Date: 2007-01-18 12:18 am (UTC)My Weir/Lorne series has Shep/Mckay as a secondary pairing. In the back of my mind I always think Carson is Rodney's best friend who goes to talk to him when he's having issues with John and Elizabeth and John are best friends too. Rather Will and Grace like. :D I even referenced W and G in one part of my series.
