I'm at my dad's place with all three of my cats right now. My carpet is being cleaned.

Abby's been wandering around a lot and crying. Zoey is hiding under the couch I think and Toby has been the brave one checking things out. He and Abby are sitting at the windows now.

A year ago I had my carpet cleaned and had Zoey and Abby at my dad's. Abby hid the entire time while Zoey came out every now and then from hiding.

Aww, that's too bad. I didn't think I'd like a cat (I thought I was more a dog person) but they're the best pets I've ever had.

I couldn't remember if you'd seen pictures of my cats. Here's (http://sg-lab.livejournal.com/15952.html#cutid1) a post from last year with their pictures. Toby has definitely changed. He's a little over a year now. Zoey turned six this year and Abby is going to be five this month.

The vid. was of Toby and Zoey. I don't know why I wrote Abby. Probably because Abby is the one Toby is fighting with all the time. :D

Toby seems to be handling it pretty well. He got up on my dad's refrigerator and knocked a few things to the floor. Abby and Zoey have the hardest time of it.

It's always a traumatic day when it's cleaning day.

Zoey's my little queen. She's my first cat. Abby's my little princess and Toby is the prince. :D

I have a few ladies come to my house a couple times a month and Toby just loves it. One of the ladies makes my bed after I've stripped it and Toby likes to play on the bed while she's making it.

Don't you get the impression some times that the kitties are humoring you and they're the ones that rule the house and are just allowing the pesky humans to live with them?. :P

My two cats are the same way! New environment, they just go into hiding. Do the chemicals in the cleaning solution hurt them at all? I have to do the weired cleaning system where they don't use any solution, because mine break out. Strange kitties. ;)

I don't know what affect it has on them. The carpet is just really wet right now. I have the windows open and the ceiling fans running as well as some floor fans. It would be very uncomfortable for them to walk on the wet carpet at the very least.
