Everybody my age is married with kids. I went to a friend's house warming party today. She's married and has a baby just under a year. Most of their friends are couples with kids.

I don't want to marry or have kids. Yes, I know how shocking for a woman to say such a thing. :p I just want some friends I can relate to.

I gotta tell ya honey, you ain't the only one. I mean, don't get me wrong, kids and husbands are lovely, I just don't especially want either so, y'know different strokes for different folks.

I'd rather be the cool aunt anyday of the week. You get invited to all the fun stuff and then get to go back to your nice, clean, booger, ankle-bitter crap free house.

And if you're really lucky, you've left the kids with their parents on a sugar high. It's like a hat trick of awesome non-parental fun.
