I'm up to the fifth episode of Robin Hood. I just finished watching Turk Flu.

There were some great scenes. It introduced Djaq who I believe [livejournal.com profile] sazzat has mentioned a few times. About half way through the episode it occurred to me Robin and his men thought Djaq was a man. I heard Robin refer to her as he and thought "What? Did he just refer to her as a he?" It always amuses me when there is a show that has a group of men and a woman joins them pretending to be a man and the men buy it.

The scene where the guy that was selling the slaves came running into the fair and was trying to tell the Sheriff what had happened. The Sheriff was talking to the guy like he was Lassie. Totally cracked me up. Can't wait for the next disc. It will probably arrive tomorrow.

On another note I have neglected to thank [livejournal.com profile] lamichelle for the Christmas card she sent me. That was a very cute card. Thank you. :-)

I wasn't feeling too good on Christmas day. I went to the doctor and was put on some antibiotics. I have a little infection. Luckily it was not so bad that I had to be admitted to the hospital. So, a belated Merry Christmas to my flist. :-)

Turk Flu is one of my favourite episodes. And the episodes after that are awesome to. Will/Allan/Djaq for the win!

"I like her"/"I think I love her" :D

Yeah Turk Flu is a good episode. I love the big hand to hand fight that Robin and Guy have as well.

The commentary for A Thing or two about loyalty was amusing. A lot of the cast was involved in that.

I really find it interesting how they're not afraid to kill a character off that Robin and his men are trying to save. That was something in the episode where Allan's brother showed up. I was shocked when they arrived to try and save him and the Sheriff had already killed him. I like that not everything ends in a nice neat and happy package at the end of every episode.

Yeah, Robin Hood isn't afraid of doing some things that other shows are too afraid to do (believe me, after watching tonights final ep of the season anything is game.)

'Brothers In Arms' is definitely one of my very favourite episodes. I loved it. The story is brilliant. When Allan looks up and sees his brother hanging was devastating. His reaction is beautifully tragic.
The scene at the end between Allan and Djaq is completely heartbreaking as well.

That is Robin Hood at it's best.

I've just completed s1. I got the last disc today and I ended up watching all four episodes in a row. It's after one in the morning. I hope I can find s2 on BBC America soon. It'll probably be awhile before it's on DVD.

Marian sucker punched Gisborne. Heh. I'm gonna listen to the commentary for the season finale tomorrow...er later today. :D

One of the extras was a profile on the Sheriff. I was a little disappointed with it because the actor who plays the Sheriff wasn't in the extra. One of the PTB said the actor who plays the Sheriff thinks the Sheriff kinda fancies Robin. Oh now there's an image. :p

I love the last two episodes. So much good stuff for all the characters in those ones. Everyone plays a part.

BOYFRIENDS! Will and Allan running off to Scarborough together :D but then they come back...which was obviously Will and his powers of persuasion to make Allan do the right thing. They are the perfect best friends.

Yeah they don't all do the special features. Joe Armstrong (Allan) doesn't do any of them and Harry Lloyd (Will) doesn't do any of the commentaries. It's something to do with contracts and having other work and stuff.

Sheriff/Robin is creepy. Sheriff/Guy I can understand. Guy is totally the Sheriffs whipping boy. Season 2 Sheriff has no shame at all LOL...Actually there really really has been a lot of the Sheriff coming on to Guy this season. Wow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OELooQHjkU and that clip from 1.09. Homoerotic? y/y?

In the words of Will Scarlet "I hate the Sheriff"...but he is such a frakking good bad guy!

Marian is kickass. I love her. I love the Robin/Marian/Guy love triangle. It gets so much more intense in season 2 as well.

You are making me flail just typing about it! *pokes* and believe me, after last nights episode I really need this good feeling.

By the way, you wanted some more RH icons...Anything particular? I could make you some :)

That scene you put a clip up of Guy and Sheriff really was so homoerotic. I thought for a moment the Sheriff was going to kiss Guy just before moving away. :D

Yeah the Guy/Marian/Robin triangle is interesting.

Darn I wish the seasons were longer. Thirteen episodes are not enough.

I thought I'd look around at icons first. I'm not sure what I want really, but thanks for the offer. :)
