Spoilers: Sunday but things go AU after that. Irresponsible never happened. In fact neither did Irresistible. Set sometime after s3.
Summary: After Rodney suffers at the hands of an old enemy he and Evan must deal with the fallout
A/N: I think there will be one more chapter. An epilogue.
Chapter 6
Evan woke up feeling a warm weight on his chest. He liked this feeling. He wanted this feeling every morning, at least every morning possible.
The body wrapped around him began to stir.
“Good morning,” he kissed Rodney’s lips.
Rodney’s response sounded like “good morning”, but you could never be sure with him. Most times it sounded more like “uh-huh” or given how ineloquent he could be first thing in the morning (not to mention grumpy), it could just as easily be “fuck you”.
Evan figured his lover had a good night if it sounded more like “good morning”.
Evan heard something come out of Rodney’s mouth, but couldn’t make heads or tails out of it. “What?”
“What time is it?” Rodney enunciated.
“0700,” Evan kissed Rodney.
“Aren’t you suppose to be doing something soldiery at this hour?” Rodney asked.
“It’s my day off,” Evan said continuing his path of kisses down Rodney’s throat.
“Have any plans?” Rodney let out a sigh when Evan started on Rodney’s chest.
“Continuing this for a start,” Evan swiped his tongue over a nipple.
“That’s good,” Rodney panted.
Evan turned to give the other nipple a little attention which had Rodney squirming underneath him. His hands slid down to Rodney’s hips holding him in place.
“Evan, I need…” his voice choked off as Evan’s hand moved between his legs.
“I’ve got you,” Evan kissed Rodney’s lips as he pressed a finger inside his lover.
“Oh geez,” Rodney bucked up.
Evan pressed in another finger messaging the lube in making the way easier. Rodney whimpered on the third finger.
“Rodney?” Evan pulled back a little.
“It’s okay,” Rodney’s voice was shaking.
They hadn’t done this last night. Evan had spent half the night worshipping Rodney’s body. After getting them both so worked up Evan just pressed the full length of his body against Rodney’s and that was enough to bring them both over the edge.
Evan continued back in assuring himself Rodney was ready. Pulling Rodney’s legs over his shoulders, Evan pressed in. It wasn’t quite as hard as he thought it would be. They were connected again.
“Move,” Rodney begged.
Without further ado, Evan pulled out a little and returned. He continued his steady in and out. He took it slow savoring the time. But Rodney bucked up trying to force Evan in harder.
“Let’s move in together.”
Not letting Rodney respond yet, Evan pushed in and out more, harder.
“I remember!” Rodney shouted.
Drops of sweat slid down Rodney’s forehead.
What do you remember?”
Evan began to slow down.
“Don’t stop,” Rodney protested.
“What do you remember?”
Evan gasped returning to his previous pounding pace.
“You, me, our not date dates, movies, real dates…”
Evan allowed one more push in and out before coming inside Rodney.
They collapsed together. Rodney was wrapped in Evan’s arms. His forehead rested on Evan’s shoulder.
“Making love.”
“Hhmm?” Evan mumbled. “Any particular time?”
“On the balcony in our family quarters,” Rodney said.
“Uh, Rodney we never…”
Rodney pressed a kiss to Evan’s lips. “Yes, I’ll move in with you. We should get some new quarters though and I have just the ones to choose from. They have really nice balconies.”
Evan held Rodney closer. “So, your memory’s back?”
“Not completely, but it’s getting there.”
