pet peeves
Jan. 30th, 2007 05:42 pmIt's so irritating when a promising fic has something that suddenly pulls me out of it completely. And it can be the smallest thing.
I just started reading a fic where in a scene Sheppard is asking someone if Rodney had eaten lunch because appearently John can't trust Rodney to stop working long enough to eat. It's Rodney McKay; the man who is constantly harping on the fact that he has hypoglycemia. The guy who was freaking out in Hide and Seek when he couldn't ingest any food or water because of a personal shield and then proceeded to stuff his face as soon as he was able to. Not to mention stuffing his face in the beginning of Underground wanting to get his fair share. Rollseyes.
