You just gotta love it when people argue there was no feasible way to rescue Elizabeth from the Assurans when a wounded John Sheppard leads his team to rescue Teyla or really all the other OTT rescue missions they did over the years.

It's a TV show people. TPTB will write a rescue mission for whomever they want rescued no matter how ridiculous the plan may be in reality. And seriously there were plenty of ridiculous, OTT, illogical, "successful" rescue missions.
