Well, I went to a singles banquet at a church tonight. It was mentioned in the bulletin las Sunday at my church and a friend of mine from church wanted to go. The woman who organized it was speaking on a microphone and said something about having a good time without drinking. I think I could have used a couple drinks to get through that and I don't hardly ever drink. :S

I got an email awhile ago about this tortoise Mzee and hippo Owen. During the Tsunami in SE Asia a couple years ago a baby hippo Owen was washed ashore Kenya and separated from his heard. He was rescued and put in a wildlife reserve where he became attached to 130 year old Tortoise Mzee. I was watching Oprah today and she was talking about love stories. Her last story was about Owen and Mzee.
