I know I could have added this to my previous post, but meh. People at TV networks are idiots.

From president of ABC, Steve McPherson: When asked about the cancellation of the much-loved "Men in Trees," McPherson said "we just couldn't get traction on that show" (but did not mention the many time-slot changes and long hiatuses it was subject to).

They couldn't get traction because they couldn't be bothered to keep the show on at the same time slot for more than a few weeks before changing it again and again and months on end off the air.

And Boston Legal's last season is only going to have thirteen episodes because of David E. Kelley's new baby Life On Mars which was an awesome British show, but is just gonna be another American cop show. Like we really need that.

The rest of the article about ABC shows coming and going next fall are here.

last night I watched two shows I've never watched before.

One was Men In Trees. I liked it. It is kind of like Northern Exposure as a fish out of water thing. The main character is in a little Alaskan town with interesting and colorful characters.

Supernatural was the other show. I didn't really like it that much. As I've only seen one episode I can only assume the episodes use various types of cultural myths and spiritual beliefs to take care of evil that is happening in a given episode.

This was the problem I had with Poltergeist The Legacy.

Like last night's episode Supernatural )
