I know I could have added this to my previous post, but meh. People at TV networks are idiots.
From president of ABC, Steve McPherson: When asked about the cancellation of the much-loved "Men in Trees," McPherson said "we just couldn't get traction on that show" (but did not mention the many time-slot changes and long hiatuses it was subject to).
They couldn't get traction because they couldn't be bothered to keep the show on at the same time slot for more than a few weeks before changing it again and again and months on end off the air.
And Boston Legal's last season is only going to have thirteen episodes because of David E. Kelley's new baby Life On Mars which was an awesome British show, but is just gonna be another American cop show. Like we really need that.
